The latest client satisfaction survey from Weybridge based strategy consultants MDRC shows that in 2008 we achieved the highest client satisfaction score for private client investment managers, alongside Cazenove Capital Management. We are delighted that in last night's Private Asset Managers Awards ceremony hosted by Frankie Boyle, we won the award for Quality and Clarity of Investment Reporting, for the third year in succession. In addition to winning this award, we were also shortlisted in the Image & Reputation - HNW investors category. The Private Asset Managers (PAM) Awards programme compares the relative performance of the leading private asset management companies who operate in the high net worth arena. The awards are the recognised industry benchmark for excellence in private client investment management. 1 March 2007 - PAM Awards We are delighted that in last night’s Private Asset Managers Awards ceremony, we were the joint winners of the award for Quality and Clarity of Investment Reporting. In addition to winning this prestigious award, we were also shortlisted in three other important categories: Best investment performance – balanced portfolios Best investment performance – defensive portfolios Overall service quality for High Net Worth Investors The Private Asset Managers (PAM) Awards programme compares the relative performance of the leading private asset management companies who operate in the high net worth arena. The awards are the recognised industry benchmark for excellence in private client investment management. 14 November 2006 - Bordier partnership acquires further shareholding in Berry In 2001 Berry Asset Management forged a strategic alliance with Bordier & Cie, when they acquired a shareholding in this company. We have benefited from this alliance in many aspects of the business and the relationship has worked very well. We now wish to deepen this relationship and have accordingly reached agreement that the Bordier partners shall acquire a further shareholding in this company. This is subject to regulatory approval in both the UK and Switzerland. Although this acquisition will result in the Bordier partnership owning a majority interest in Berry Asset Management, the company will remain independent and no other changes are planned. The board of directors will remain unchanged, with its existing full time executives, and the bank’s day to day involvement in the business will not be increased in any way. Jamie Berry and Neil Kennedy remain totally committed to the business on a full time basis.
